Evaluation and research
A forum to present the results of the Timebanking Trial and Bathurst Grows strategic initiatives was hosted at NSW Parliament House by the Hon Victor Dominello MP Minister for Citizenship and Communities.
It was an achievement to produce the first ever NSW Volunteering Strategy, and now in less than two years, the NSW Government has already successfully implemented many of the key initiatives contained in it.
Independent evaluation has demonstrated success in the key initiatives of the NSW Volunteering Strategy; the Timebanking Trial and the Bathurst Grows project.
As we approach the second anniversary of the Strategy in May 2014, we can review what has been achieved.
The presentations by the evaluator teams from the University of Newcastle and the University of Wollongong on two of those key initiatives are now available:
